Asdrubal Cabrera hits grand slam in Mets' rout of Phillies
New York Mets shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera finished 2-for-5 with four RBI's in the Mets' 17-0 rout of the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday.
Cabrera came to the plate in the seventh inning with the score already 7-0, and his grand slam ran the score up to double-figures. The Mets are still atop the NL wild card standings with six games to go.
The veteran is having a solid season in New York, slashing .281/.336/.482 with 23 homers and 59 RBI's over 498 plate appearances. His wOBA of .348 is his best mark since 2009, while his .201 isolated power is easily the best of his career.
