Orioles' Mark Trumbo belts walk-off homer Friday
Baltimore Orioles outfielder/first baseman Mark Trumbo smashed a walk-off solo homer in the 12th inning on Friday, delivering the Orioles a big 3-2 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Trumbo's league-leading 44th homer couldn't have come at a better time for the O's with the game tied 2-2 in the 12th inning. The win helped them keep pace in the AL wild card race as Trumbo finished 2-for-5 on the night.
Trumbo improved his slash line to .247/.309/.521 with 44 homers and 103 RBI's after Friday night. His .350 wOBA is the best average of his career, as is his .273 isolated power.
