Michael Conforto leads Mets in big Friday win
New York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto came alive at the plate Friday against the Philadelphia Phillies by going 2-for-3 with a three-run homer, a double, and two runs scored.
What It Means:
The Mets put up six runs in the fifth inning and Conforto's three-run blast helped the Mets bust open the game. After a hot start to the season, hopefully Conforto can come around for the Mets to help them hold onto a wildcard spot.
Conforto is slashing .222/.310/.420 with a .313 wOBA over 335 plate appearances this season. He has 12 dingers, 39 RBI's and a 40.1 hard hit rate.
