Ian Kinsler back in Tigers' lineup Friday
Detroit Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler (head) is back in the lineup Friday against the Kansas City Royals.
Kinsler is back at second base and leading off after missing three games with a concussion. He was hit in the head with a pitch on Sunday but is no longer experiencing post-concussion symptoms.
It has been a good year from the dish for Kinsler, slashing .277/.335/.469 with a .345 wOBA and .192 ISO through 638 plate appearances. He also has 26 home runs on the year -- his best mark since 2011.
