Yasmani Grandal hits grand slam as Dodgers beat up Rockies
Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal connected for a pair of home runs, including a grand slam, in Thursday's 7-4 win over the Colorado Rockies.
Grandal went 4-for-4 and was a triple shy of the cycle on Thursday. After hitting a solo shot in the second inning, Grandal smashed his grand slam in the seventh inning to give the Dodgers the lead. LA's magic number is now down to four.
Grandal is slashing a solid .231/.335/.491 with a .352 wOBA over 433 plate appearances this season. He has added 27 homers and 69 RBI's with easily a career high in isolated power at .260.
