Pirates' Starling Marte leaves game with back tightness
Pittsburgh Pirates left fielder Starling Marte was forced to make an early exit from Thursday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers as he was once again experiencing back tightness.
Marte missed 2 weeks earlier in the month with a back injury, and Thursday was his first start since then. Expect him to miss some more time as he continues to recover.
Marte is having a fairly strong year from the dish, slashing .311/.362/.457 through 528 plate appearances. His .351 wOBA is the second-best mark of his career.
