Billy Hamilton (oblique) may be on Reds' sidelines rest of year

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Billy Hamilton (oblique) is unlikely to play again this season, said manager Bryan Price.

What It Means:

"I think we're so far removed now from baseball activity," Price admitted. "We're getting to that point where the realism portion of this deal is fading real fast -- for both [Hamilton and Zack Cozart]." A strained left oblique has kept Hamilton out of action since September 5.

Hamilton is slashing .260/.321/.343 with a .294 wOBA through 460 plate appearances. His 58 stolen bases, a career-high, are the most in the majors.
