Cincinnati Reds shortstop Zack Cozart (knee) is unlikely to play again this season.
The 31-year-old shortstop has been sidelined with soreness in his right knee since September 10. He hasn't been officially shut down, but it doesn't sound like a return is likely.
Cozart's production from the dish has been pretty middling this year, as he is slashing .252/.308/.425 with a .312 wOBA and .172 ISO through 508 plate appearances. He's hit 16 home runs, eclipsing his career-high of 15 set in 2012.
