Scott Kazmir (neck) ready for Friday start when Dodgers face Rockies
Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Scott Kazmir (neck) is scheduled to start against the Colorado Rockies on Friday.
Kazmir has been bothered by a blister issue and has also been fighting through thoracic spine inflammation over the past month. Despite the ailments, it sounds like he'll be able to play Friday against the Rockies.
Kazmir has recorded a 1.35 WHIP and 22.9 strikeout percentage across 135 1/3 innings this season. His 4.59 ERA and and 4.20 SIERA are both well above his careeraverages.
