Nolan Arenado cranks a grand slam, Rockies crush Cardinals
Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado sent a grand slam soaring Wednesday in the Rockies' 11-1 rout of the St. Louis Cardinals.
What It Means:
The four-bagger came on a second inning pitch from Cardinals rookie Luke Weaver. Arenado finished 2-for-4 with four RBI's and two scores on the day.
Arenado is pacing the majors with 128 RBI's this season and should crack the 130-mark for the second consecutive campaign. He's up to 39 home runs and a .294/.362/.573 slash in 655 plate appearances on the year.
