Tigers' Ian Kinsler (concussion) improving, but remains 'groggy'
Detroit Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler (concussion) is better but "groggy," said manager Brad Ausmus.
If Kinsler continues to show concussion symptoms, he will likely be questionable for the remainder of the week. Don't expect him to be available off the bench Tuesday night either. Andrew Romine will start at second base and hit ninth for Detroit.
It has been a good year from the dish for Kinsler, slashing .277/.335/.469 with a .345 wOBA and .192 ISO through 638 plate appearances. He also has 26 home runs on the year -- his best mark since 2011.
