Dustin Pedroia out Tuesday for Red Sox with left knee soreness
Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia is out Tuesday with a sore left knee.
Pedroia referred to the injury as minor and said he expects to play Wednesday. Marco Hernandez is starting at second and batting at the bottom of the order for Boston as they take on the Baltimore Orioles.
Pedroia is having a strong year from the dish, slashing .325/.384/.452 through 650 plate appearances, with a .363 wOBA that is his best since 2011.
