Dodgers activate Alex Wood (elbow) from disabled list
Los Angeles Dodgers left-handed pitcher Alex Wood was activated from the 60-day disabled list.
Wood returns to the Dodgers' bullpen Tuesday night after an elbow injury caused an almost four-month absence. Bud Norris was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.
Wood had been pitching well, posting a 3.31 xFIP and a 25.6 strikeout percentage (league average is 21.1 percent) in 56 1/3 innings this season.
