Chris Davis hitting second for Baltimore on Tuesday
Baltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis will bat second as the Orioles take on the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday.
This will be the first time this season that Davis has been batting second, after spending 122 of his 145 games this season hitting either fourth or fifth in the order.
Davis is having a solid year from the dish, slashing .221/.333/.479 through 612 plate appearances, with a .349 wOBA and .258 ISO. His 38 home runs and 94 runs scored are both the third-best marks of his career, while his 82 RBI's are only three shy of his third-best.
