Daniel Murphy, Jayson Werth, Ryan Zimmerman all out for Nationals
Washington Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy (leg) is out of the starting lineup once again as the Nationals take on the Miami Marlins on Tuesday.
Murphy has missed three straight starts with soreness in his left leg, but is still available in a pinch-hitting capacity. He will be joined on the sidelines by right fielder Jayson Werth and third baseman Ryan Zimmerman on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old Murphy is enjoying career-highs across the board with a .348/.392/.598 slash, .410 wOBA and .250 ISO in 579 plate appearances. His 25 home runs and 104 RBI's are also the most he's put up in a season.
