Elvis Andrus scores the winning run as Rangers top Angels monday
Texas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus had a solo home run and scored the winning run as part of a 3-for-4 day from the dish on Monday as the Rangers picked up a 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels.
The Rangers were down 2-1 when Andrus went yard, tying the game up in the bottom of the seventh. He then singled in the bottom of the ninth, eventually making it home as the winning run.
Andrus is having a career year from the dish, slashing .298/.358/.426 with career-highs in wOBA (.338) and ISO (.128) through 535 plate appearances.
