Tampa Bay Rays first baseman Logan Morrison will undergo surgery Wednesday to repair a torn tendon sheath in his left wrist.
Morrison is looking at a 12-week recovery process. The tear could have been worse, but there will be warranted skepticism about his health entering free agency this offseason.
Morrison finishes with a .238/.319/.414 slash and .317 wOBA in his first (and potentially last) season with the Rays. He has 14 home runs and 43 RBI's in 398 appearances on the year.
