Miami Marlins starting pitcher Wei-Yin Chen was activated from the 15-day disabled list.
Chen hasn't pitched since July 20 due to a left elbow sprain. He returns Monday night to square off against the Washington Nationals.
Chen owns a career-high 4.99 ERA over 110 innings pitched this season, while his 4.24 xFIP is the worst since his rookie year in 2012. His 19.1 strikeout percentage is also below the big league average (21.1 percent).
