Jimmy Nelson strikes out seven over six innings in Brewers' win
Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jimmy Nelson played six innings against the Chicago Cubs on Thursday, allowing three runs and striking out seven as the Brewers went on to win 5-4.
That marks the third win in 12 starts since the All Star break for Nelson, who has a 5.81 ERA in 62 innings in that span.
It has been a really rough season for Nelson, who has a 4.42 ERA and a career-worst 4.87 SIERA through 30 starts.
