Luis Perdomo goes six strong, Padres stifle San Francisco
San Diego Padres pitcher Luis Perdomo spun 6 1/3 innings of one-run ball in the Padres' 3-1 victory over the San Francisco Giants Wednesday.
Perdomo was hit just four times and walked one, helping cap off a three-game road sweep of the Giants. He added five strikeouts to his total as well.
The 23-year-old right-hander has spun a 5.68 ERA across 134 2/3 innings during his rookie campaign, recording a 1.63 WHIP and 16.4 strikeout percentage.
