Miami Marlins pitcher A.J. Ramos dealt a perfect ninth inning on Tuesday, striking out two as he earned his 35th save of the season against the Atlanta Braves.
Ramos has been given the save opportunity in two of the Marlins' last three games, and he came through in both opportunities.
Ramos has struggled a bit this year, with a 3.07 ERA and a career-worst 3.86 SIERA. His 27.9 percent strikeout rate and 12.9 percent walk rate through 55 2/3 innings are both worse than his career averages.
