Steve Pearce sidelined for Orioles' battle with Red Sox
Baltimore Orioles infielder/outfielder Steve Pearce (forearm) is not in the lineup versus the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday.
Pearce continues to have some problems after tweaking his forearm during a throw on Monday. Nolan Reimold is replacing him in left field for the Orioles and hitting ninth against left-hander Drew Pomeranz.
Pearce is slashing .288/.374/.492 with a .370 wOBA and .205 ISO across 302 plate appearances for both the Tampa Bay Rays and Orioles this season. He's recorded 13 home runs and 35 RBI's on the year.
