Tigers keeping Justin Upton (calf) on ice Tuesday
Detroit Tigers outfielder Justin Upton (calf) is not in the starting lineup Tuesday versus the Minnesota Twins.
The Tigers are giving Upton at least one day to recover after he strained his left calf on Monday. Tyler Collins is replacing him in the lineup against the Twins.
The 29-year-old outfielder is slashing .238/.297/.423 and has driven in 70 runs over 553 plate appearances. Upton has 22 taters for the 2016 campaign.
