Cardinals' Seung Hwan Oh dealing with groin soreness
St. Louis Cardinals reliever Seung Hwan Oh was unavailable over the weekend due to groin soreness.
Manager Mike Matheny took some heat for not deploying Oh on Sunday, but his decision-making is now known. It's unclear whether or not the 34-year-old rookie will be available on Monday against the Chicago Cubs. The Cardinals will likely turn to Kevin Siegrist for closing duties if Oh spends any time on the shelf.
Oh has converted 17 of his 20 save opportunities this season, recording a 1.87 ERA and 34.3 strikeout percentage across 72 1/3 innings of work.
