Lorenzo Cain (wrist) returns to Royals' lineup
Kansas City Royals outfielder Lorenzo Cain (wrist) is back in the lineup Friday against the Chicago White Sox.
A left wrist issue has plagued Cain since mid-August, but he apparently feels good enough to give it a shot Friday night. He's starting in right and hitting third versus White Sox left-hander Carlos Rodon.
Cain has struggled a bit this season, slashing .287/.336/.409 through 429 plate appearances. His .320 wOBA is his lowest since 2013.
