New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez is out of the starting lineup on Wednesday night against the Toronto Blue Jays.
This seems to be a simple night off for Sanchez, who's slashing .348/.423/.713 with 11 home runs and 21 RBI's in 130 plate appearances this season in the big leagues. Austin Romine -- and his .283 wOBA -- will start behind the dish and hit ninth Wednesday.
Not counting two plate appearances in the majors last season, Sanchez's big league career is off to a monster start. He has a massive .365 ISO and a huge .467 wOBA this year. We project Sanchez to hit just one more tater, but post an .846 OPS over the rest of the year.
