Mariners' Robinson Cano day-to-day with sore right foot

Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano is day-to-day with a sore right foot.

What It Means:

"Hopefully we'll have him back in there tomorrow," manager Scott Servais said late Tuesday night. Cano fouled a ball off his right foot in his first at-bat Tuesday night, causing some pretty severe swelling. Ketel Marte entered as a pinch-runner.

Cano's .373 wOBA is his best mark since 2013 and his .229 ISO is the highest since 2012, both campaigns occurring while he was a member of the New York Yankees. The veteran slugger has 32 home runs and 86 RBI's through 608 plate appearances this season, contributing to a 2.41 nERD that ranks 52nd in the majors.
