Miguel Gonzalez turns in scoreless start to help White Sox defeat Detroit
Chicago White Sox pitcher Miguel Gonzalez dealt 6 1/3 shutout frames on Tuesday as the White Sox went on to defeat the Detroit Tigers 2-0.
This is the first time since the All Star break that Gonzalez has made a scoreless start, but he has been very solid through seven starts in that span, posting a 2.77 ERA.
Gonzalez hasn't looked as good on the season, though, and he owns a career-worst 4.57 SIERA through 108 2/3 innings.
