Ian Kinsler (finger) remains sidelined for Detroit

Detroit Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler (finger) remains out of the starting lineup on Tuesday night against the Chicago White Sox.

What It Means:

On Sunday, Kinsler was hit in his finger by a hard grounder and is still experiencing some swelling. Andrew Romine will replace Kinsler at second base on Tuesday and hit ninth.

Kinsler is having an impressive season, slashing .279/.340/.475 with 25 home runs in 594 plate appearances. His .349 wOBA and .196 ISO are both his best marks since the 2011 season. We project Kinsler to hit three more taters and post a .794 OPS over the remaining course of the season.
