Twins call up Jose Berrios for to start Monday
The Minnesota Twins have recalled pitcher Jose Berrios from Tiple-A Rochester to start Monday's game against the Kansas City Royals.
Berrios has already had two stints in the majors this season, getting shelled for 38 earned runs in 37 innings.
The 22-year-old Berrios has shown a lot of promise in the minors this season though, with a 2.51 ERA and 28.9 percent strikeout rate through 111 1/3 innings at the Triple-A level.
