Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco was dominant in Friday's victory over the Miami Marlins, racking up 11 strikeouts over 7 1/3 scoreless innings.
Carrasco walked just one, while allowing only six hits during his time on the hill. He now has six straight games of striking out eight or more batters and he will see if he can keep that streak alive in his next start against the Houston Astros on Wednesday.
Carrasco owns a 3.06 ERA and 1.09 WHIP across 135 1/3 innings pitched this season. He has a 26.1 strikeout rate, while his xFIP is a solid 3.24 this season.
