Rangers' Colby Lewis (lat) making another rehab start
Texas Rangers pitcher Colby Lewis (lat) will make another rehab start Monday.
The start will likely be with Short-Season Spokane. Lewis was hopeful to be able to rejoin the Rangers' rotation over the weekend, but it was decided he needs one final tune-up. He owns a 3.21 ERA in 98 innings this season, but hasn't pitched for the Rangers since June 21.
Lewis's 4.89 xFIP is significantly higher than his ERA and his 15.8 strikeout percentage is well below the current league average (21.0 percent). We currently project him to record a 4.35 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP over the rest of the season (about 12 1/3 innings).
