Dodgers recall Yasiel Puig from Triple-A
The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled outfielder Yasiel Puig from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
After being demoted, Puig didn't sulk and instead slashed .348/.400/.594 with four home runs and 12 RBI's in 19 games (75 plate appearances) for Oklahoma City. He'll man right field on Friday and will likely receive regular playing time against lefties over the rest of the year. With Josh Reddick struggling, it's possible that Puig could play his way into the everyday starting lineup.
Puig struggled through 303 major league plate appearances this season, slashing .260/.320/.386 with a .309 wOBA and a .126 ISO, both of which are career-lows.
