Washington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman is not in the starting lineup Friday against the New York Mets.
This is just a routine day off for Zimmerman. Clint Robinson -- and his .289 wOBA this season -- will start at first base and hit seventh on Friday.
Zimmerman has struggled this season, slashing .217/.275/.379 with 13 home runs and a .280 wOBA in 382 plate appearances. We project him to hit three more home runs and post just a .685 OPS over the remaining course of the season.
