Marcell Ozuna (wrist) still out as Marlins take on Cleveland
Miami Marlins outfielder Marcell Ozuna (wrist) remains out of the starting lineup Friday against the Cleveland Indians.
Ozuna made a diving catch on Wednesday and hurt his left wrist in the process. His absence Friday will be his second-straight start missed and he can be considered day-to-day. Christian Yelich will play center field again, while Destin Hood will make his big league debut in left field Friday.
Ozuna has been solid at the plate this season, slashing .268/.322/.469 through 531 plate appearances. His .336 wOBA is above his career average, while his .201 ISO is a career-best. We project Ozuna to hit three more taters and post a .720 OPS over the rest of the year.
