Twins promote Byron Buxton back up to the majors
The Minnesota Twins have recalled outfielder Byron Buxton from Triple-A Rochester.
What It Means:
Buxton was optioned to Triple-A on August 7, but the 22-year-old looked great in minor league action, and he's earned himself another shot in the bigs.
Buxton has been much less impressive at the major league level, slashing .193/.247/.315 through 218 plate appearances, with only a .243 wOBA.
