New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Kansas City Royals.
Judge has struggled a bit from the plate since being called up earlier in August, evidenced by a colossal 41.4 strikeout percentage (24 whiffs in 58 plate appearances). Aaron Hicks fills in for the Yankees in right and he will bat ninth.
The 24-year-old right fielder owns a .196/.276/.412 slash and .294 wOBA in his first taste of major league action, logging three home runs and nine RBI's so far. In 410 plate appearances for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season, Judge recorded a .384 wOBA to go along with 19 homers and 65 RBI's.
