Rich Hill (blister) scratched from Dodgers' second half of doubleheader

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Rich Hill (blister) will not pitch Wednesday night against the Colorado Rockies.

What It Means:

The Dodgers will utilize a group effort from the bullpen Wednesday, sending Bud Norris to the hill first. Hill has been dealing with the blister for over a month now, making his first start since July 17 last week versus the San Francisco Giants. He twirled six scoreless innings in that outing.

Hill has an impressive 2.09 ERA and a slightly less impressive 3.51 SIERA on the season, with a 27.8 percent strikeout rate and 8.4 walk percentage through 82 innings of work.
