Lorenzo Cain (wrist) not in the Royals' Wednesday lineup
Lorenzo Cain (wrist) is not in the Royals' starting lineup Wednesday versus the New York Yankees.
What It Means:
Cain has apparently been playing through a left wrist injury for two weeks now. Jarrod Dyson will start in Cain's place in center field on Wednesday.
Cain has struggled a bit this season, slashing .287/.336/.409 through 429 plate appearances. His .320 wOBA is his lowest since 2013.
