Neil Walker (back) remains out of the lineup for Mets on Tuesday
New York Mets infielder Neil Walker (back) is once against out of the lineup as the Mets take on the Miami Marlins on Tuesday.
This will be the third straight missed start for Walker, and the team hasn't announced any sort of timeline for his return. Wilmer Flores will start at second base and bat sixth in Walker's absence Tuesday.
Walker has put up some solid numbers this year, slashing .282/.347/.476 through 458 plate appearances, with a .350 wOBA and .194 ISO that are both well above his career averages.
