Orioles' Adam Jones (hamstring) remains sidelined versus Toronto
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones (hamstring) remains absent from the starting lineup on Monday against the Toronto Blue Jays.
On Monday afternoon, Jones told reporters that his left hamstring is feeling much better, but he needs at least another day of treatment and rest before he can return. On Thursday, he tweaked the hamstring, before reaggravating it on Friday. Jones is slashing .275/.316/.456 in 539 plate appearances this season.
Jones owns a .329 wOBA this year, which is his lowest mark since 2008, but has hit 24 home runs. We project him to hit five more taters and post a .769 OPS over the rest of the year.
