Tony Watson records a save as Pirates finish sweep of Brewers
Pittsburgh Pirates reliever Tony Watson notched a save on Sunday as the Pirates finished their series sweep of the Milwaukee Brewers with a 3-1 win.
Watson recorded saves in all three of the series' games, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out four through three innings of work.
The 31-year-old Watson is having a down year, and his 2.57 ERA is his worst since 2012, while his 3.96 SIERA marks a career-worst. He owns a 21.2 percent strikeout rate and 1.07 WHIP through 56 innings pitched this season.
