Kyle Seager (foot) remains out of Mariners' lineup on Friday
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager (foot) remains out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Chicago White Sox.
Seager fouled a ball off of his foot on Tuesday and this will be his third straight missed game. Shawn O'Malley will start at third base in Seager's place tonight.
Seager is having a very strong season, slashing .286/.364/.515 through 528 plate appearances. His .369 wOBA and .229 ISO are both career-highs, and his 2.04 nERD ranks 60th in the majors.
