Royals' Wade Davis (forearm) needs a couple more rehab games
Kansas City Royals pitcher Wade Davis will need to make a couple more rehab appearances before coming off the disabled list, according to Royals' manager Ned Yost.
Davis made his first rehab appearance on Wednesday, allowing one hit with one strikeout, and he could be back before the end of the month if his next couple of appearances go well.
Davis owns a solid 1.60 ERA on the season, but his 3.93 SIERA is his highest since 2013, and his 23.7 percent strikeout rate and 11.1 percent walk rate are both significantly worse than the numbers he has posted over the past two seasons.
