Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Michael Saunders (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup Thursday against the Los Angeles Angels.
Saunders is battling a minor hamstring injury and can be considered day-to-day. With Saunders sitting, Ezequiel Carrera -- and his .299 wOBA -- will enter the lineup in right field and hit eighth on Thursday.
Saunders is having a career year, slashing .266/.350/.500 with 21 home runs and a .361 wOBA in 472 plate appearances this season. We project him to hit five more taters and post a .783 OPS over the rest of the season.
