Nelson Cruz exits Mariners' contest with apparent leg injury
Seattle Mariners outfielder Nelson Cruz was pinch-hit for in the eighth inning of Wednesday's game against the New York Yankees.
Mike Zunino came in to pinch-hit for Cruz in the eight inning with two runners on. The Mariners should provide details regarding the assumed injury following the game. Cruz did appear to be limping earlier in the contest.
Cruz is hitting .283/.366/.539 with a .381 wOBA and .257 ISO in 525 plate appearances this season. He has 32 home runs (sixth in the majors) and 78 RBI's on the year.
