White Sox' Jose Abreu homers in third straight game
Chicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu went yard on Tuesday as the White Sox crushed the Philadelphia Phillies 9-1.
Abreu now has home runs in three straight games, and six in the month of August. He has also tallied 13 runs scored and 14 RBI's in 19 games (82 plate appearances) this month.
Despite this being the least productive season of Abreu's young career, he has been solid from the dish, slashing .285/.341/.455 with a .338 wOBA and .170 ISO through 528 plate appearances.
