Billy Butler missing from Athletics' active roster Monday
Oakland Athletics designated hitter/first baseman Billy Butler is not listed on the active roster for Monday's game against the Cleveland Indians.
What It Means:
Butler was involved in a physical altercation with teammate Danny Valencia over the weekend (reportedly over an endorsement deal), leading to him showing some concussion symptoms. An official announcement hasn't been made yet, but Butler is expected to be placed on the disabled list, with Arismendy Alcantara replacing him on the active roster.
