Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder A.J. Pollock (elbow) could be activated from the disabled list by the end of the week, said manager Chip Hale.
After dealing with a minor oblique issue early last week, Pollock has gone 4-for-8 with a pair of doubles since being promoted to Triple-A last Saturday. The 28-year-old is enjoying a .433/.541/.733 slash with two jacks and eight RBI's in 37 plate appearances during his rehab in the minors this season. He could be a big addition for fantasy owners over the final month of the season.
Pollock hasn't seen big league action this year, but had a strong showing in 2015, slashing .315/.367/.498 with a .371 wOBA and .182 ISO in 673 plate appearances.
