Zack Cozart (knee, heel) likely to remain unavailable for Reds Tuesday
Cincinnati Reds shortstop Zack Cozart (knee, hell) probably won't be ready to return on Tuesday, according to manager Bryan Price.
The Reds remain optimistic that Cozart won't need a stint on the disabled list to tend to his right knee and Achilles, but he will receive an additional day to heal Tuesday. That will make it six straight missed contests for Cozart, who has already been ruled out for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers and lefty Scott Kazmir.
For the season, Cozart is slashing .263/.313/.442 with a .179 ISO and a .320 wOBA in 450 plate appearances, both of which are above their league averages (.163 and .318, respectively). We project him to hit four more taters and post a .728 OPS over the rest of the year.
